Dirk Smith, Plant Manager of Village Green Environmental Studies School, has implemented a fun and rewarding recycling program. Each week the classes of VGESS compete to see who will win a coveted Sundae Party for the most material recycled in one week. The incentive program has been a huge success. Mr. Smith’s bright idea supports the mission and vision of Village Green Environmental Studies School, connects to the theme of this year’s SLC Fair, and most importantly saves money and our planet.
