A heartfelt thank you to the Worcester Red Sox for visiting Weatherbee Elementary and spending time reading with our students! The team visited our school while they were down for Spring training at the St. Lucie Mets stadium. We want to thank the athletes for their energy, leadership, and genuine enthusiasm, which sparked excitement for literacy and made learning come alive for our students. Our Mariners loved hearing stories from community role models who inspire both on and off the field. By sharing the joy of reading, you showed the power of teamwork, dedication, and education.
