Bayshore Elementary recently hosted two successful Student-Led Conference sessions—one for grades K-2 and another for grades 3-5. These conferences gave students the opportunity to take ownership of their learning by sharing their academic data, progress, and personal goals with their families. Parents joined their children in the cafeteria, where students confidently explained their achievements and areas for growth. This interactive format allowed parents to ask questions directly to their child, fostering meaningful conversations about learning. For families unable to attend, every student still had the chance to present their data and goals to their teacher or a staff member. We are proud of our students for leading these discussions and demonstrating responsibility for their education!
