White City Elementary Wildcats Run the Gladiator Challenge

White City Elementary Students Take on the Gladiator Challenge!

White City Elementary recently celebrated student success with an exciting Gladiator Challenge! This PBiS event was designed to reward students who consistently demonstrated the school’s ROAR expectations— being Respectful to Others, Always Responsible & Safe.

Students earned Dojo points throughout the month for positive behavior and were invited to participate in this high-energy challenge as recognition for their efforts. The event was led by our dedicated Physical Education Coaches, Coach Jones and Coach Smith, who brought enthusiasm and teamwork to the day’s activities. Students raced as a team through a wall climb, tire jumps, weave run, net crawl, board jumps, over a balance beam, hopping hurdles, over an agility track, finally through a sack race, and ending the course by getting to throw water balloons at Coach Smith! All while ducking, diving, and dodging as their teachers tried to slow them down with dodgeballs! Students had an amazing time, excitedly cheering on their peers, and the entire field was filled with laughter.

The Gladiator Challenge not only promoted physical fitness and fun but also reinforced the importance of positive behavior and school values. Congratulations to all participants for showing what it means to ROAR at White City Elementary!
