Many thanks to the St. Lucie County Public Library for visiting Northport second graders. Jayme Kostandinu, children’s program specialist, and Brittany Ellis, program associate, brought news about the public library’s summer reading program themed “A Universe of Stories!”
Students received applications for public library cards and listened to interactive stories to spur their reading initiative. The program runs from June 1 through August 3.
