Each year the Palm Pointe Elementary Physical Education Department runs a yearly fund-raising campaign for the American Heart Association. The Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser raised $5,200 this year. Students have been learning healthy heart habits and how the heart works. The P.E. Department culminated the fundraising by having the students participate in heart-related jumping and hopping activities. Mr. Santoro and Mr. Piscopo would like to thank our students and their parents for their continued efforts to make this such a success. In addition to learning important information about heart health, students learned the importance of giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate. Thank you again to all the Rockets who participated!
