Buckle Up! They Belong Together!

Did you know? Students are about 70 times more likely to get to school safely when taking a bus instead of traveling by car. That’s because school buses are the most regulated vehicles on the road; they’re designed to be safer than passenger vehicles in preventing crashes and injuries. All SLPS buses are equipped with 3 point lap-shoulder seat belts, and Florida law requires that students who are riding on a bus equipped with seat belts must wear the belts. Students can earn “Bus Bucks” as a reward for wearing their seat belts! Buckle Up! They Belong Together!
