Treasure Coast High School instructor Jack Clark chaperoned 28 students from the school’s Manufacturing/Pre-Engineering program to visit area manufacturing companies in accordance with the state’s Manufacturing Day. The first visit was to PAC Seating Systems in Palm City, where students received a tour from CEO Chuck Tufano. PAC Seating designs and creates state of the art airline seating for corporate and private jets. The visit was a huge eye-opener for students as they were very impressed with the quality working environment at PAC, which reinforced the OSHA safety standards students are learning in the classroom.
