Lincoln Park Academy Does Broadway

Lincoln Park Academy Theatre just returned from their first ever trip to the big city. LPA theatre took 21 students to New York City to experience the bright lights, Broadway and the history of NYC. These students saw two-star studded Broadway shows, took masterclasses with Broadway professionals, toured the Museum of Broadway and visited numerous sights to see in the city. Many students experienced their first Broadway show! It was truly the trip of a lifetime.      

Lincoln Park Academy Chorus Sweeps Washington D. C. National Choral Competition

During the weekend of March 23-26, the LPA Chorus participated in the WorldStrides OnStage Washington D. C. National Choral Festival. Lincoln Park Academy Choral Department…State-bound Again!

Congratulations to the Lincoln Park Academy Choral Department!! The Women’s Chorus “Premiere” and the advanced Women’s Chorus “Belle Voix” both received Straight Superior ratings at the Florida Vocal Association District 13 Choral Music Performance Assessments. They now move on to the State Music Performance Assessments along with the Women’s Ensemble, Duet (Dalita DeCambre and Rayna Desmangles), and Soloist Angellesiea Cerda.   State MPA will be held in North Palm Beach and West Palm Beach in April. Lincoln Park Academy Students4H2O had a great time this Saturday at Stuart Memorial Park as they partook in Water Fest 2022! Lincoln Park Academy was proud to represent St. Lucie County at this environmental conservation event. Hundreds of attendees stopped by to check out their activity focused on upcycling egg cartons as planting pots. Lincoln Park Academy Athletics Continues to Shine at FHSAA State Tournaments

Lincoln Park Academy won three gold medals at State Championships in the Fall and their Winter teams are seeing similar success. The Girls Basketball Team won their 7th District Championship in a row and their first Regional Championship in school history to advance to the State Final Four.  The Lady Greyhounds beat American Heritage in their semifinal appearance and fell short in the Championship game to the #1 team in the nation.  Congratulations to Coach Adams, his staff, and his team for finishing as the Class 4A State Runner-Up. Lincoln Park Academy Art Department Wins First Place at The Saint Lucie County Fair

The Saint Lucie County Fair Association invited local schools to participate in themed displays.  Following the theme, “Preserve the Fun, Recycle When Done,” Lincoln Park Academy received the first place award in the high school division which included a generous $1,000 cash prize.  In a class discussion about why recycling is important for our planet and its inhabitant, the students came up with the idea that nature cannot be manufactured.  It is a gift from the earth and its beauty cannot be fabricated.  Ms. Duran’s 3D high school students (grades 9-12) collaborated in creating a large tree which read, “We … Read More

We are incredibly proud of our 7th grade Civics students in Mr. Sparacio’s class for their outstanding participation in this year’s Project Citizen district competition! Project Citizen is a nationally recognized program that empowers students to identify real-world issues in their community, research public policy solutions, and develop action plans to create positive change. The 3rd annual “Lights on Afterschool” expo held on  Thursday,  October 12th at the Fort Pierce Police Athletic League (PAL) was a success. The event showcased many afterschool organizations in our community. Thanks to a grant from the City of Fort Pierce, families who attended and completed a survey were entered in a drawing for a laptop computer.
