Lincoln Park Academy Middle School Students Participate in Great Explorations Trip

A select group of 8th grade students from Lincoln Park Academy participated in the 1st Middle School Great Explorations event in conjunction with Indian River State College.  Students were able to get hands-on experience with Green Room technology and video production, as well as laser, Allied Health, and Robotics fields, while speaking with professors and students about the school-college-work connection.  The all day event was intended to provide a “spark” for these students who will soon be entering high school and beginning their college exploration journey.              

Lincoln Park Academy Middle School PBiS Dodgeball Extravaganza

The Lincoln Park Academy Middle School PBIS Dodgeball Extravaganza served as a purposeful and uplifting celebration of students who consistently demonstrated exemplary behavior and upheld #TheLPAStandard. This event recognized students who modeled our core expectations each day: Be Prompt, Be Prepared, Be Productive, Practice Respect, and Practice Safety. Under the direction of Mr. Jason Hatfield, Lincoln Park Academy proudly presented its annual Spring Concert on April 17th, showcasing the musical talents of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Bands. Held in the school auditorium, the performance played to a sold-out audience of enthusiastic families, friends, and supporters. Lincoln Park Academy Mathletes Win Big

Congratulations to the Lincoln Park Academy Math Team on a great finish Saturday, February 13th, at Suncoast Community High School’s February Regional Mu Alpha Theta Math Competition. Eighth graders Callie Zheng, Sreya Banik, and Yanan Lin took home the third place trophy in the Geometry Team division. Callie also finished in 8th place as an individual. In the Calculus division, seniors Geoffrey Zheng, Carlos Arce, Jason Dennis, and junior Bradley Gilrane finished in third place with Geoffrey placing 2nd overall as an individual. Lincoln Park Academy Kicks Off 6th Grade Band Year with Exciting Mouthpiece Party

Lincoln Park Academy proudly announces the successful launch of its 6th-grade band program with the annual Mouthpiece Party, an engaging event that brought together students, parents, and faculty for an afternoon of music, discovery, and community spirit. This unique event offered students their first hands-on experience with a variety of band instruments, allowing them to try different mouthpieces and discover which instrument best suits their interests and talents. Lincoln Park Academy Junior Wins Gold Medal

Congratulations to Lincoln Park Academy’s Jonathan Geraghty. Jonathan won his second gold medal at this year’s FHSAA State Dive meet November 17th.  This was the first time since 1955-56 that a Treasure Coast diver has won back-to-back gold medals.

Lincoln Park Academy Jazz Ensemble Collaborates with Renowned Latin Percussion Artist Sammy Figueroa

The Lincoln Park Academy Jazz Ensemble collaborated with renowned Latin percussion artist and Grammy nominee Sammy Figueroa and his Sally’s Tomato ensemble at the Sunrise Theater Black Box.  The students enjoyed an engaging workshop with Mr. Figueroa on Afro-Cuban stylistic techniques followed by the performance at the Black Box.   Sponsored by Bluebird Educational Foundation, the event was an enormous success!

Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds Win Big at SLC Fair

Mr. Mathison’s Adobe CAPE Academy put their photography skills to the test, with every student entering a picture into the St. Lucie County Fair’s Student Photography test. Students selected and framed all their own pictures. Each student earned a ribbon for their participation, but some stood out, including 16 first place, 13 second place and 9 third place ribbons. Students earning first and second earned prize money for their entries. Mr. Mathison can’t be more proud of their accomplishments!

Lincoln Park Academy Graduate Wins Miss Teen USA!

Breanna Myles, a 2021 graduate of Lincoln Park Academy, represented Florida, on Saturday, November 27th in the Miss Teen USA Competition in Oklahoma. Breanna won 1st place and was crowned “Miss Teen USA!!!”  This is the first time in the history of the competition that Miss Teen Florida won the competition! Breanna graduated from Lincoln Park Academy in 2021 with her A.A. degree from Indian River State College. She is currently enrolled at Florida State University where she is majoring in Computer Science. LPA Graduate Dr. Sizemore-Ruiz Comes Full Circle

The nationally known cardiologist, Dr. Tiffany Sizemore-Ruiz, Class of 2003, returned to Lincoln Park Academy to dispense nuggets of wisdom to the eighth-grade graduates of 2017.  She delivered the message that all lessons learned in eighth grade were relevant as she shared anecdotes of the hard-tack lesson from Mr. David Perry’s eighth-grade history class, as well as algebraic strategies taught to her by Ms. Chinn. Lincoln Park Academy Golfer Wins the Treasure Lakes Conference Championship

The Treasure Lakes Conference held their first championship of the year in golf this week.  Lincoln Park Academy’s Girls Golfer Angelica Holman shot a 35 and was crowned the Treasure Lakes Conference Champion.  Congratulations to Angelica and to 6th grader Jaden Peterson who was also attended the invitation only championship that day.

After a year filled with community and school events, activities, and initiatives, Lincoln Park Academy Students4H2O closed the school year with GoalFest. GoalFest focuses on educating others about the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how they relate to our lives and the world around us through 30-second to 3-minute video submissions. Lincoln Park Academy Girls Basketball Team is Headed to the State Final Four

Lincoln Park Academy Excels at Odyssey of the Mind Regionals

Lincoln Park Academy students showcased their exceptional creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills at the Odyssey of the Mind Palm Regional Competition, earning top honors and securing their place at the State Championship in April!
