Lincoln Park Academy’s 2025-26 STEM Fair was a huge success! 38 projects were submitted by LPA Science teachers, which were narrowed down to 20 invited to participate in the LPA STEM Fair! The school STEM Fair took place on Thursday, January 15, in our Media Center. 6th-grade classes, escorted by Mrs. Pease, did their own judging on all of the projects on display. Our participants enjoyed reviewing the comments, encouragement, and evaluations of our 6th-grade students! Lincoln Park Academy STEM & Buds

The Lincoln Park Academy STEM & Buds chapter began in November with a mission to empower students to bridge STEM and storytelling through peer mentorship and project creation. Since then, high school and middle school members have embarked on a genuine STEM research experience. The one hour and fifteen minute sessions allow students to discover six primary branches of STEM: engineering, social sciences, math, computer science, biology, and chemistry through various challenges, activities, presentations, and discussions. Lincoln Park Academy Shines Bright at St. Lucie County Fair

Lincoln Park Academy highlighted the school’s achievements and greyhound pride in this year’s St. Lucie County Fair booth. The theme was, “School’s Shining Bright Under Carnival Lights.” The booth featured a ceramic greyhound posed as the school’s fortune teller, themed photographs of our administration, and various items from our sports, music, and art programs.  Lincoln Park Academy won second place in the high school division and received a $500.00 award.  We would like to thank Dermody Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics for sponsoring this award and the St. Lucie County Fair Association.

Lincoln Park Academy Senior, Sebastian Suarez Meets the Challenge of the US Congress!

Congratulations to LPA senior, Sebastian Suarez, for earning Congress’ only charity, the Congressional Award.  Sebastian completed over 400 hours of voluntary public service, 200 hours of personal development and 200 hours of physical fitness over a 24-month period, to include a 5-day, self-planned trip to New York City, where he explored the various cultures that helped shape the formation of the city, to garner this prestigious award and meet his personal goals. Niko Gavoni has been been selected for the College Board National African American Recognition Program. Lincoln Park Academy Senior Named Regeneron Science Talent Search Finalist

Lincoln Park Academy senior, Haniya Shareef has been named one of the top 40 a finalists in the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. As a top 40 finalist, Haniya will receive at least $25,000 in awards. She was selected from a pool of highly qualified entrants based on her project’s scientific rigor and her potential to become world-changing scientific leaders. Lincoln Park Academy Senior Athlete Wins Scholarship

Lincoln Park Academy was recently notified by the FHSAA that Senior Jamya Wiley is one of twelve female finalists for the Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team. Jamya will attend a banquet in Gainesville on June 11th and be awarded a $1,700.00 scholarship.  The over-all winner will be announced and will receive an additional $4,600.00. Lincoln Park Academy School Counselors Stretching Their “Cache of Knowledge”

Lincoln Park Academy school counselors had the pleasure of attending the State University System of Florida Admissions Tour (SUS) held at Florida Atlantic University on August 30, 2023. Lincoln Park Academy Rocked One Act Festival!

We are thrilled to share that the Lincoln Park Academy Theatre, Troupe 6958, participated in the District 15 One Act Festival this past weekend and received a straight Superior Rating as well as Best In Show. This means that they will be moving on to State Festival in March! Other awards included the Strongest Dramatic Performance and All-star Ensemble Cast. Emily Bouchillon received an award for her performance in the Best Supporting Actress category, Kaitlyn Oravec received an award for All-Star Actor in their troupe, and Darian Brown received an award for his performance in the Best Supporting Actor category. … Read More

Lincoln Park Academy Represents the USA at the Panasonic KWN 25th Anniversary Global Awards Ceremony

The two teams from Lincoln Park Academy, under the guidance of master Adobe instructor Gena Harriman, won The Americas region in their respective categories! LPA’s World Hunger team and civic documentary moved on as one of seven finalists with other regional winning teams from the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Panama, and Thailand. They also won another similarly action packed 5-day trip to NYC with the addition of a cultural exchange and a brand new studio quality Panasonic video camera! Lincoln Park Academy Peace Poster Show

The Hurston Branch Library will display the artwork of Lincoln Park Academy students grades 6th– 8th from January 15th – February 15th.  The Zora Neale Hurston Branch Library is located at 3008 Avenue D, Fort Pierce, Florida, just west of 29th Street. The student artwork represents individual expressions of peace and justifies why kindness matters in a global sense.  For over three decades, Lions Clubs around the globe have sponsored this “peace” themed art contest for schools and youth groups. Lincoln Park Academy Partners with Treasure Coast Safe Kids  

 Mrs. Longo’s HOPE classes partnered with the HOSA club in the Battle of the Belts challenge. The group surveyed student and parent drivers to see who was wearing their seatbelts. Of the 320 cars, 300 people wore their seatbelts and only 20 did not! Great job to those who participated! The HOPE classes also participated in a poster contest sponsored by the Treasure Coast Safe Kids and the Florida Department of Transportation. The winners were Natalie Barajas, Elianna Bohorquez, Michael Soto, Asyah Hamilton, Nalyce Cerda, Angelina Kissoon and Olivia Costa. Each participant won a Chik-Filet gift card. Lincoln Park Academy Orchestras’ Winter Wonderland Concert

Lincoln Park Academy Orchestras presented a Winter Wonderland Concert on December 13 in the LPA Auditorium. Featured orchestras were the 6th-grade Prelude Orchestra, the 7th and 8th-grade grade Allegro Orchestra, Exploring Music Orchestra, and the High School Combined Orchestras.  This Winter Wonderland Concert featured holiday favorites such as Let it Snow, The Nutcracker Suite, Hannukah Habanera, and Dreidel.  Soloists featured included this year’s Florida Orchestra Association Concert Orchestra violinist Giselle Arana Cisneros, Daniel Dawkins on piano, and a Carol of the Bells duet performed by middle school violinists Grace Joseph and Astrid Tamariz Salazar.                  Prelude Orchestra, 6th Grade … Read More

Lincoln Park Academy Orchestra Students Audition for All-State

These Lincoln Park Academy Orchestra students recently auditioned for the Florida Orchestra Association All-State Orchestra, held at Oslo Middle School on September 19.  Middle school student Christine Gergely auditioned on viola, and high school students Giselle Arana-Cisneros and Alexander Lopez auditioned on violin.  This will be Giselle’s fourth audition for the All-State orchestra!  The students prepared two etudes/excerpts in addition to scales and arpeggios. Results will be released in early November. Miss Laura Hopkins is the director of orchestras at Lincoln Park Academy.

The Lincoln Park Academy Orchestra is proud to announce the following students were selected for the Florida Orchestra Association All-State Orchestras, which will meet in January at the annual Florida Education Association Conference in Tampa.   Ms. Laura Hopkins is the Orchestra Director at Lincoln Park Academy. Lincoln Park Academy Orchestra Receives the Dyer Difference Award

Before moving to the treasure coast in 2008 the Dyer’s had a dealership in small town rural Ohio. Giving back to the community became part of the culture at their dealership. They depended on their community and the community, in turn, counted on them. The award committee is made up of the management team at Dyer and the recipient is voted on monthly. The award is presented on behalf of Dyer Chevrolet Mazda Subaru and salutes a non-profit organization on the Treasure Coast that is truly making a difference in their community. Lincoln Park Academy Odyssey team moves on the world finals

The Lincoln Park Academy Odyssey of the Mind Team won first place at the recent state competition, and will move on to World Finals at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.  There they will be performing the solution to their posed problem along with teams from all over the globe. The scores for these performances, along with the scores they receive for a spontaneous creative thinking event, will determine where they place in the World Finals for creative thinking and problem solving. Lincoln Park Academy NJHS Joins Forces to Beautify Jetty Park

On Saturday, November 8th, Lincoln Park Academy’s Junior Honor Society joined forces to clean up Jetty Park as part of the “Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful” initiative. The City of Fort Pierce Public Works team led an engaging lesson on the dangers of litter and its harmful effects on local wildlife. They generously provided buckets, grabbers, water, and ice to support the effort. Students worked together to make a positive impact on the environment and their community, demonstrating leadership and service.
