Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion Hosts Successful 4th Blood Drive

On March 26, 2026, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion successfully hosted its fourth blood drive of the school year. In partnership with ONEBLOOD, the event saw 35 students, faculty, and staff members participate, potentially saving up to 84 lives.  Cadets played an essential role in the drive’s success by managing various logistics. Key responsibilities included checking in donors to verify eligibility, acting as “runners” to escort students to and from their classes, and monitoring donors in the recovery area. Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion Hosts 33rd Annual Award Ceremony

On Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, the Port St. Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion held its 33rd Annual Award Ceremony. The purpose of this award ceremony was to award deserving Cadets for their service, loyalty, personal appearance, character, and knowledge of JROTC, as well as their outstanding achievements in and outside of the program. Select Cadets were recognized by different Veteran organizations such as MOAA, Vietnam Veterans of America, Korean War Veterans, etc. More awards will also be given to the Cadets during the Company inspection.  The ceremony was a success as there were over 40 awards given to top-performing cadets for their outstanding achievements.

The Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion recently enjoyed a well‑earned reward trip to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay on April 25, 2026. The Jaguar Battalion conducted its annual Field Day on May 9, 2026. This event is designed to promote esprit de corps, encourage friendly competition, and determine the Battalion’s top-performing Company. Cadets reported at 7:30 AM in physical training (PT) gear and prepared for the day’s activities under the supervision of their respective Company command teams. Once accountability and instructions were completed, Cadets participated in a series of athletic events that tested physical endurance, coordination, and teamwork. On November 1, 2025, the Cadets of the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion successfully executed a car wash fundraiser. Held at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts on US HWY 1, the dedicated young leaders demonstrated exceptional discipline and teamwork throughout the day.  The Cadets thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared sense of purpose. They embraced the opportunity to bond while engaging with local donors. On September 17, 2025, the Port Saint Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion hosted its first Blood Drive of the year, making a significant impact by helping save over 132 lives in collaboration with OneBlood. A total of 44 students, teachers, and staff members participated in the event. Cadets were assigned different roles to ensure the blood drive ran smoothly.   On Saturday October 5, 2019, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion hosted a practice Raider meet.  This meet is a warm-up for the upcoming Raider season.  The teams got the chance to work together efficiently and effectively while also seeing how well each teammate performed under pressure. Port St. Lucie High School Goes to States

On December 3rd the Port St. Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion Male Raider Team attended the Florida State Raider meet at Camp Flaming Arrow, after achieving 1st place in the Area 3 Raider meet in October. Our Jaguar Battalion competed against the best JROTC programs in Florida in 5 events. Our Jaguar Battalion finished in 4th on a 1.7-mile team run, 5th in a 1-mile Litter carry, 4th in the 30-pound kettlebell carry, 4th in Tire Flip, and 4th in constructing and crossing a rope bridge over a 30-foot distance. The Jaguar Battalion Male Raider Team captured 4th overall.

Port St. Lucie High School Gives Back at Beach Cleanup

Port St. Lucie High School students are stepping up to serve the community in a meaningful way. On Saturday, April 18th, members of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society collaborated for a beach cleanup at Jensen Beach. This special event highlights the shared mission of both honor societies: leadership through service and making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
