On March 26, 2026, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion successfully hosted its fourth blood drive of the school year. In partnership with ONEBLOOD, the event saw 35 students, faculty, and staff members participate, potentially saving up to 84 lives.
Cadets played an essential role in the drive’s success by managing various logistics. Key responsibilities included checking in donors to verify eligibility, acting as “runners” to escort students to and from their classes, and monitoring donors in the recovery area. This hands-on involvement ensured the ONEBLOOD “BIGREDBUS” operated efficiently throughout the day.
The Jaguar Battalion is proud of the dedication shown by its members and the generosity of the donors. This event highlights the unit’s ongoing commitment to community service and public health. Following this success, the Battalion looks forward to future opportunities to support this vital cause.
