The fifth graders from Ms. Jacob’s class used starburst candies to learn about sedimentary rocks. Sedimentary rocks, also known as sandwich rocks, can be found in rivers, lakes, and oceans.
Students completed a graphic organizer as they learned about different types of rocks and how they are formed.
