TCHS Air Force JROTC Opportunities

The Air Force JROTC (AFJROTC ) at Treasure Coast HS recently held a Basic Training week for new Cadets.  The week focused on basic training including teamwork, drill, and marksmanship activities. Tuition Assistance

Indian River State College (IRSC) has a long-standing collaboration with St. Lucie County School District through which school district employees are given tuition assistance for Associate Degree level courses.  The tuition voucher allows employees to only pay for the first credit of each three-credit course & IRSC provides a tuition scholarship for the other two credits. IRSC has established a defined scholarship allocation for the school district for Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 and has authorized the district to begin issuing vouchers per the normal process, effective now.  The school district is responsible for authorizing our employees to … Read More

Student Assignment Temporary Location

From August 1 to August 13, the Student Assignment office will temporarily operate from the Treasure Coast Public Safety Complex in Fort Pierce to support the increased back-to-school needs of parents, students, and community members.  Hours of operation are from 8 AM to 4 PM.  This is an important shift at this exciting and busy time of year to accommodate our customers and their parking needs. Please make note of this temporary location: 4600 Kirby Loop Road in Fort Pierce. (This is located near Indian River State College’s main campus.)

During the 2018 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday Aug. 3 through Aug. 5, qualifying items will be exempt from tax including: certain school supplies selling for $15 or less per item as well as clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $60 or less per item.
