Indian River State College (IRSC) has a long-standing collaboration with St. Lucie County School District through which school district employees are given tuition assistance for Associate Degree level courses. The tuition voucher allows employees to only pay for the first credit of each three-credit course & IRSC provides a tuition scholarship for the other two credits.
IRSC has established a defined scholarship allocation for the school district for Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 and has authorized the district to begin issuing vouchers per the normal process, effective now. The school district is responsible for authorizing our employees to “draw against” this allocation through the issuance of tuition vouchers. Employees then take the tuition vouchers to IRSC cashiers along with the portion of the tuition due from the employee.
In order to be issued a tuition voucher, you must bring a copy of your registration form to the School Board Human Resources Office. Tuition vouchers are available for full-time employees. Please do not pay for your course(s) prior to receiving your tuition voucher from the school district.
Please note that if your student ID number does not print on your registration, you will need to provide the number to the Human Resources Department when you receive the tuition voucher.
