Forest Grove MOA Students Display Life-Size Whale at Festival

FGMS MOA students engineered a life size orca whale 25 feet long x 11 feet tall and put it on display at the IRL Science Festival in Ft. Pierce on Saturday, October 22.  With the help of their teachers Ms. Cole and Mr. Stinnette, students in grades 6-8 and their parents spent 30 hours after school creating the whale out of plastic sheeting and Duck brand duct tape.  Students began by cutting a rectangular sheet of plastic into shape and taped it together. Forest Grove Students See the Miami Heat

  Sixty Forest Grove students got the experience of a lifetime on March 17 when they got to see the Miami Heat play at the American Airlines Arena.   After the game, students were able to go on the court and take a shot from the free throw line just like the players do!  This elite group of Bulldogs were nominated by their teachers for doing well in school academically and behaviorally.  Students also won a spot on the trip through PBIS events.   All of these well-deserving students will write about their experience at the game to share with the rest … Read More

Forest Grove Hosts Annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Forest Grove Middle School hosted its 5th annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater titled “Going to the Chapel and We’re Going to Get…Murdered?”  Students wrote and performed an original “whodunit” play filled with comedy and suspense after studying the elements of literature.  The cafeteria was transformed into a reception hall for the wedding of Olive Payne and Chris P.
