VGESS Celebrates Read Across America Day

Village Green Environmental Studies School celebrated Read Across America Day on Monday, March 3^rd. Read Across America Day is celebrated to encourage the love of reading and to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Seuss.  Students and staff at Village Green celebrated the Fox in Socks reading day by wearing their craziest socks to school. Students brought their favorite books to read on this special day and colored Dr. Seuss bookmarks. Our wonderful cafeteria staff even served green eggs and ham for breakfast, it was a huge hit! Village Green is working hard to inspire avid reading among our students by incorporating different reading events throughout the year!
