Cultural Food Project: World Language
As part of the World Language curriculum, students participated in a Cultural Food Project designed to celebrate and explore their heritage. Each student selected a dish that represents their cultural background or a cherished family tradition. The project was divided into two components: a written portion and a culinary presentation. In the written part, students researched and described the history, ingredients, and cultural significance of their chosen dish. For the hands-on portion, they prepared and shared the actual food with classmates, creating a vibrant and flavorful experience that fostered cultural appreciation, community building, and language learning through meaningful engagement.
