St. Lucie West Centennial High School Hosts CTE Walk-Throughs for St. Lucie West K-8 Students

Eighth-grade students from St. Lucie West K-8 recently visited SLW Centennial High School to explore its diverse Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The visit gave students an exciting glimpse into opportunities available in high school and beyond. They toured programs such as ROTC, Health Science, Criminal Justice, Business Communication Academy, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Outboard Marine, Aerospace Technologies, and the Intro to Teaching Academy.

Through hands-on activities and engaging presentations, students gained a clear understanding of what each program offers, from practical skills to pathways for future careers. This experience helped them see how CTE programs prepare learners for success in college, technical fields, and the workforce. Centennial High’s commitment to providing real-world learning opportunities left a lasting impression, inspiring these future high schoolers to start thinking about their passions and career goals.
