A Culmination of Art, Collaboration, and Celebration
The St. Lucie West Centennial Culinary Arts Program proudly wrapped up its eighth and final week of collaboration with the remarkable Eagle Regiment Band—a partnership that has been both inspiring and transformative. This Halloween-themed banquet was the grand finale of an exceptional fall event season and truly the cherry on top of months filled with creativity, dedication, and teamwork.
The Culinary Arts Program extends its deepest appreciation to the Eagle Regiment Band and Band Director Mr. Brian Hoce for their steadfast support and generosity. Their continued partnership has played a vital role in advancing the hands-on learning experiences that define our program. Because of their contributions and shared commitment to student success, our young culinarians have had the opportunity to deepen their skills, refine their craft, and gain invaluable real-world experience in our culinary labs.
What made this collaboration so special was the seamless connection between two distinct forms of artistry—music and culinary—united by a shared passion for excellence, creativity, and community. Together, our students transformed each event into a sensory celebration of sight, sound, and flavor. The Halloween banquet in particular was a joy to bring to life, from the planning and décor to the final presentation, where the excitement and appreciation from the students made every detail worthwhile.
A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to Janiyah Henry, whose hard work and artistic vision were instrumental throughout the entire season. Janiyah created imaginative, vibrant, and beautifully detailed menu displays that elevated every event, bringing energy and color to the tables and capturing the spirit of each theme with remarkable talent and care.
