The SLPS Talent Development Department had an amazing day with new teachers on the first of five Refining and Improving Starting Educators (RISE) 2 days for 2022-2023! RISE 2 days are designed to provide ongoing support and professional learning sessions to support teachers’ instructional strategies, classroom practice, and behavior management. The Classroom Management Panel session also provided teachers an opportunity to ask questions and gain targeted support from Deans, Behavior Support Specialists, Behavior Analysts, Culture & Learning Environment Specialists, Exceptional Student Education Specialists, MTSS Specialists, School Psychologists, and School Counselors. We are grateful to the St. Lucie County Education Foundation for sponsoring the day, and Keiser University for being our host.
