In a tribute to the volunteer spirit that has made the Speakers Bureau a success throughout the years, Dr. Donna Mills hosted a breakfast to honor the ladies and gentlemen who have shared their stories of inspiration and motivation with students in middle and high schools across the District.
The Panther Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Donald Meely, set the tone for a harmonious morning that was followed by warm expressions of appreciation for the contribution of time and commitment by volunteers coming into the schools with positive and powerful messages. Attendees also enjoyed a world class breakfast prepared by state champion culinary students before taking a tour of the some of the Fort Pierce Westwood’s unique career and technical academies including Agritechnology and Veterinary programs.
