On April 3 – 6, 2014 Saint Lucie West Centennial HOSA traveled to their State Leadership Conference at Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World. Over the course of the four days, two students qualified to attend HOSA’s National Leadership Conference. Alexia Stewart placed in the recognition event for Outstanding HOSA Chapter competing against twelve other regions with hundreds of other HOSA chapters. In addition, we also had another student qualify; Michael Riley who was elected as a State Officer from over 40 other candidates. He was elected as State Parliamentarian and will be serving over 13,000 HOSA members in the 2014 – 2015 school year. We are proud of Alexia and Michael for their hard work and dedication to HOSA. We would also like to say how proud we are of all other competitors who went to States with Centennial. National Leadership Conference will be held from June 25-29 also at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Good luck and congratulations again to Alexia and Michael.

In addition, the Saint Lucie West Centennial HOSA Chapter Advisor and Florida HOSA Region IX Advisor, Elizabeth Durkee was honored with a FL HOSA Lifetime Achievement and Membership award for her years of dedication to this organization. Congrats Mrs. Durkee and thank you for all that you do.
