SLW Centennial High School celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week with the theme “FIRST CLASS TRAVEL FOR OUR FIRST-CLASS STAFF.” This special week was dedicated to honoring our incredible teachers for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Throughout the week, teachers were treated to themed breakfasts and lunches from various locations around the world, including Mexico, Ireland, Italy, Asia, and ending with the United States. The culinary students did a marvelous job preparing many of the meals and creating a festive and exciting atmosphere each day.

In addition to the delicious meals, teachers were pampered with massages, adding an extra touch of relaxation and appreciation. Students participated by writing heartfelt messages about the reasons their teachers are special to them. These tokens of appreciation highlighted the positive impact our teachers have on their students’ lives.

In addition to teaching, our educators are constantly learning by attending workshops, earning degrees, and adapting to new technology and curriculum standards to better serve our students. Teachers are not just educators. They are counselors, mentors, and a daily source of encouragement. They notice when a student is having a rough day and take the time to connect.
Teacher Appreciation Week at SLW Centennial was a great success, reminding us all of the vital role our educators play in shaping the future. We are incredibly grateful for our first-class staff and their commitment to providing a top-notch education for our students.
Thank you to all our teachers and staff for everything you do!
