Students in Mrs. Jones’ first grade class learned about Hispanic Heritage from Mrs. Rivera, ESOL paraprofessional. She taught students about Hispanic culture and traditions while students enjoyed a hands on learning experience creating their own pinatas! Fifth graders at Savanna Ridge Elementary conducted research to learn more about Hispanic Heritage. They created projects to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and proudly placed them on display at the district office.
