Palm Pointe 4th – 8th grade BETA members soared, at the 2019 BETA Florida Junior Convention! So many memories were made, as these students represented our school with poise, determination and creativity. Our very own Laney Keys, Vice President of the Junior Beta for the State of Florida, commanded the stage several times and our students were recognized for 18 awards in the various categories! The students loved the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to service, leadership, character, and academic achievement. We are so proud of our BETA Rockets!
Beta is an organization that promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. Beta recognizes and honors students for having high academic achievement. It develops character by preparing young people for life and empowers them to be successful as well as develops the leaders of tomorrow. There is an emphasis on service as the Beta motto is Let Us Lead by Serving Others.
