The Jaguar Battalion has successfully completed the reconstruction of its Raider Obstacle Course thanks to the generous support of The Home Depot Foundation and the volunteer team from Home Depot Store #6376.
The project was inspired by Raider Team Captain Felix Witkamp, whose vision to improve the Battalion’s training environment helped turn an idea into reality. Cadets worked alongside Home Depot volunteers Victor Catalano, Matthew Matlock, Niko, and Carlos to remove the aging course and construct a modern training facility that will serve Cadets for years to come.
In addition to providing labor, expertise, equipment, and donated soil for the project, The Home Depot Foundation supported the Jaguar Battalion Supply Shop with valuable tools and resources. Their generosity also extended across Port St. Lucie High School through donations that benefited the Automotive and Carpentry programs, enhancing hands-on learning opportunities for students.
The completed obstacle course reflects the power of community partnership, volunteer service, and Cadet leadership. The Jaguar Battalion extends its sincere gratitude to The Home Depot Foundation and Home Depot Store #6376 for their commitment to student success and their lasting investment in the future of Port St. Lucie High School.
