The Port Saint Lucie High School JROTC program successfully completed its annual holiday toy drive, exemplifying professionalism and a deep sense of community responsibility. This initiative was conducted in partnership with Guardians for New Futures and Communities Connected for Kids. Every year, the Jaguar Battalion has the privilege of working with these outstanding organizations to collect toys during the Holiday Season, reinforcing the importance of giving back and supporting those in need. Dedicated PSLHS staff and motivated JROTC Cadets sponsored 25 children, ensuring they experienced a truly memorable holiday. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of our community, the program successfully collected a total of 75 gifts, equating to three toys for each sponsored child. This achievement highlights how coming together during the holidays can make a powerful difference in the lives of others.
This successful community outreach effort underscores the Cadets’ commitment to leadership, service, and the values of compassion and teamwork. We are proud to continue our valuable relationship with Guardians for New Futures and Communities Connected for Kids next year, as we strive to strengthen our community and inspire future leaders.
