Kindergarten students at Fairlawn Elementary had an exciting week filled with inspiration and imagination! As part of our “Play with Purpose” curriculum, our youngest learners welcomed special guests from the community who shared their real-world careers and experiences. The classrooms were buzzing with curiosity as a published author visited to talk about the magic of storytelling, encouraging students to dream big and express their creativity through writing.
Adding to the excitement, an American Airlines flight attendant stopped by to share what it’s like to travel the skies, helping others along the way. Students were fascinated to learn about airplanes, destinations, and the important role flight attendants play in keeping passengers safe and comfortable.
These meaningful visits helped students connect classroom learning to the real world, sparking new interests and big dreams for the future. At Fairlawn, even our youngest stars are reaching for the sky.
