Third place resulted in a tie between Bianca Arcadipane (7th) and Natali Gallegos (6th). Kiera Chapman-Martinez’s poster will advance to represent Lincoln Park Academy in the Peace Poster Contest. Honorable Mentions were also selected including Kara Valure (8th), Ripley Greenwald (8th), Summer Sinclair (8th), Talia Bock (8th), Francisco Godinez (7th), and Casey Chilton (6th). A selection of the student’s work will be displayed at the Zora Neale Hurston branch library for the month of January. The library is located at 3008 Ave D, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
The Fort Pierce Lion’s Club generously sponsored Lincoln Park Academy’s participation in this contest by providing large drawing pads of paper, prizes, ribbons, and certificates. The first, second, and third place students recently attended an awards dinner hosted by the Lion’s Club. The students had the opportunity to meet Debi Crouse and members of the Fort Pierce Lion’s Club. Additionally, they each spoke about their individual creation and views on peace.
