Palm Pointe Summer Reading Carnival

Palm Pointe Educational Research School held a reward Carnival for students who participated in the Summer Reading Program.  In order for students to attend, they had to read a minimum of two chapter books, one of them being a Sunshine State Reader book.  Additionally, students had to create thinking maps that demonstrated they comprehended what they read.  At the carnival, students participated in activities including ski ball, bowling, basketball, dancing, and a variety of other carnival games.  Students also enjoyed snacks and prizes as they participated in the activities.  The carnival was filled with smiles, as students celebrated their reading success.  Way to go Reading Rockets!
