TCHS Titan Ambassadors Treat Windmill Point Students to Shopping Spree!

On Monday, December 16th, the Titan Ambassadors from TCHS took several Windmill Point Elementary students to Target to spread holiday cheer and help them shop for gifts for themselves and their family. The students were gifted a $100 gift card, and the students were paired up with a Titan Ambassador to help them shop.  The students were treated to a fun bus ride to and from the event, where they sang holiday songs and bonded with the high schoolers. TCHS Takes Over Courthouse

On 04/04/18, TCHS’s Criminal Justice Department took a group of six students to the Federal Courthouse located in Fort Pierce. Judge Maynard and Judge Rosenberg put together a case about online threats made by an individual. Students were divided into three groups: prosecution, defense, and jury. All three groups worked with true professionals in the field such as lawyers, public defenders, and court staff members.   TCHS students took a significant step beyond the classroom by visiting the Holocaust Memorial. This field trip was not just an educational excursion but a deeply moving experience that brought historical concepts to life in a powerful way. Students from Ms. Nelson’s class help plant seeds for our very first Tower Garden!  A Tower Garden is a general vertical hydroponic growing system, which require less space and water to grow the plants than traditional systems.

TCHS Student Travels to London for Performance Series

Sophia H. Katsigiannis, a student at Treasure Coast High School, has been selected for the High School Honors Performance Series at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Sophia will perform the bass clarinet in July 2024 with the Honors Band. Participation in the Honors Ensembles is limited to the highest-rated young performers from across the world. Sophia will join performers from 42 United States, Guam, South Korea, and Canada for a special performance at the world-famous Royal Festival Hall, a venue that marks the pinnacle of musical achievement. TCHS Student Receives Questbridge Scholarship

We are thrilled to announce that TCHS senior Zoe S. received a full scholarship through the Questbridge Scholarship program to attend Colby College in Maine. The Questbridge Scholarship program is an intensive process that begins in the student’s junior year and requires three levels of applications and elimination rounds. Zoe will be majoring in Performance, Theater, and Dance, with a minor in Cinema Studies. TCHS Student makes National Merit Scholarship Semifinals!

Officials of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced Treasure Coast Senior Ryan Lu as a Semifinalist in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. As a talented High School Senior, Ryan has an opportunity to continue in the competition for a National Merit Scholarship. To be considered for a Merit Scholarship award, Ryan must fulfill several requirements to advance to the finalist level of competition. TCHS SkillsUSA Takes 1st Place

The students from the photo competed in SkillsUSA Regional Competition in Orlando, FL last week, Thursday, February 18.  Students were in the Community Service Competition and won 1st Place for Region 3. Student Names: Olivia Wallman, Arielly Dias, and Arthur Waddell Students in this competition had the following purpose: To evaluate local chapter activities that benefit the community and to recognize excellence and professionalism in the area of community service. This event also enables the community to become aware of the outstanding work being performed by career and technical education students.  

TCHS Senior Gains Early Admission to University of Chicago

Congratulations to Treasure Coast High School Senior Gustavo Delgado on his early admission to the University of Chicago.  In addition to gaining early admission to the prestigious university, he was also awarded a full four-year scholarship covering tuition, room and board and other expenses.  University of Chicago is ranked number three in National Universities by US News and World Report in 2018. TCHS ROTC Cadets to Participate in the 2025 JROTC Flight Academy Program

Treasure Coast High School Jr. Reserved Officers Training Corps Cadets were selected to participate in the 2025 Sumer Flight Academy program. Cadets Nora Brant, Micheal Brant, and Juan Paez-Aguirre will represent Treasure Coast High School in the 2025 Summer Flight Academy program. This program is an 8-week program where cadets learn the flight principles and learn how to fly one-on-one with instructors. Upon successful completion, cadets may be eligible for their Private Pilot’s License. TCHS ROTC Airshow Participation

On March 27th, the Treasure Coast High School ROTC FL-20081 staff flight was visited by Mr. Brett and Mr. Dewey from Stuart to present us with a $3,000 check for our participation as volunteers at the 2023 Stuart Airshow. This is an annual event that our unit participates in every year. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Robotics Team Competes in VEX Competition

The Treasure Coast High School Robotics team, made up of members from the Robotics Club and AFJROTC Robotics Team, competed at Imokalee High School near Naples in a day-long VEX robotics competition along with more than 20 other robotics teams. Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving among groups. The TCHS team designed and constructed a robot to accomplish prescribed competition tasks both in “student-driven” and autonomous modes.  The TCHS team made it to the event finals before being eliminated and learned a lot while also having a great experience.

TCHS Recognizes Heroes

Students in Mrs. Rodriguez’s class created a 9/11 Heroes Day Tribute. Treasure Coast High School recognized Officer Rodriguez and Officer Sisto for their heroic acts on 9/11 and subsequent weeks after as they were first responders for the NYPD.  Officer Rodriguez and Officer Sisto shared some words with the students.
