Ron Parker, head football coach at St. Lucie West Centennial High School, was selected by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association to coach for the South team in Florida’s 2011 North/South All Star game in Sebring. Robbie Baumgarten, a second grade student in Rachel Lutha’s class at F.K. Sweet Elementary is using a part of his Daily Five Reading time to reflect and write about what he has just read. Students are afforded choices within the literacy routine on a daily basis.
Students at F.K. Sweet Elementary recently enjoyed an after school dance sponsored by the PBS Team. The proceeds from the dance will be used to purchase award items for each classroom teacher. This conga line is enjoying one of many different kinds of dances.
