Friends, Fun, & Cobra Community FPC held its annual fall Club Rush or student involvement fair on Friday, September 8th. During both lunches, Cobra Nation’s courtyard was flooded with students being welcomed and introduced to over 20 student organizations, clubs, and unique interest groups. Central’s Champion Flag Football Team Visit the Bucs

Towards the end of the top-notch season, the Lady Cobra’s Champion Flag Football Team was invited to Tampa to meet the Buccaneers players and play a game on their home field. Coach Clements couldn’t be prouder of his team! From their dedication, hard work, and cohesive vision, the team members have made clear that while winning is always the goal, winning as a team means more to players. Chef Cindy Swertfager was thrilled to receive the Rachel Ray Grow Grant to enhance the culinary experience for students in the Culinary 1/2 classroom. Fort Pierce Central High School proudly welcomed 51 outstanding students into the National Honor Society (NHS) during a memorable induction ceremony that celebrated scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Central Honors Hispanic Heritage Month

Fort Pierce Central’s Sunshine Committee, administrative team, ELL & ESOL team, and Culinary Department partnered to celebrate Hispanic Heritage in a big way at FPC! Faculty and staff were welcomed to a uniquely themed luncheon featuring traditional Latin foods and some sweet treats too. Decorations lined the walls of pathways weaving through the auditorium proudly displaying flags, authentic attire, and cultural iconography. Congratulations to Adrienne Rivera and Tajeyah Chance for making it into the Top 10 of the ESPN Top 63 Athletes Awards. Adrienne earned the #1 spot becoming the first athlete in the Treasure Coast to earn it. Coach Quigley is the proud coach of FPC’s Cobra Volleyball. Supporting our Cobras for both indoor and beach programs at Central spurs year-long fundraising efforts. These fundraisers make a difference for Cobra families when supporting all things volleyball. On top of yearly online donation fundraisers, the team recently hosted a fundraiser at Blaze Pizza in Tradition. Fort Pierce Central High School is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of its students in the Cambridge AICE program, with many earning the prestigious AICE Diploma and passing individual AICE courses—key milestones that contribute directly to Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship eligibility. This year, many Cobras will earn their AICE Diplomas, demonstrating mastery across a rigorous curriculum that includes global perspectives, advanced sciences, arts and humanities, and college-level writing. Centennial’s Messina to be inducted into state athletic Hall of Fame

St. Lucie West Centennial High School athletic director John Messina joins six other individuals being inducted into the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame April 28 in Gainesville during the 23rd-annual Induction Ceremony. Their induction will bring to only 157 members who have earned this prestigious honor.
