Central Seniors Honored at Awards Night

On May 14, 2025, Fort Pierce Central High School celebrated its graduating seniors in a night filled with recognition, celebration, and heartfelt moments. Proud Principal Gardner started off the evening with his opening remarks.

The Senior Awards and Scholarship program brought together students, families, and faculty to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of the Class of 2025. The event highlighted students who excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, and community service. Seniors involved in various clubs were recognized for their contributions, while those earning scholarships, cords, and stoles proudly received their honors.

St. Lucie County’s commitment to supporting students was evident, with numerous scholarships awarded to deserving seniors. Local businesses and organizations came together to ensure that students pursuing higher education and trade schools. Various community spokespersons were vilified to bestow their honors and scholarships to deserving Cobras. The Education Foundation and IRSC was pleased to support students pursing the reciprocal path of teaching through the Promise Program.

The United States Armed Services proudly welcomed over a dozen Cobras as recruits pledging to serve our country.

Mr. Bradley, sponsor of FPC’s Student Government Association (SGA), presented Dylan Knaggs with the first ever FPC Cobra Spirit award for reviving the Bonfire. SGA also honored Tyler Corey with FPC Cobra Service Award for his tireless dedication, commitment, and upstanding example of  putting others ahead of self.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The ceremony was attended by proud families and faculty members, who cheered on the seniors as they stepped onto the stage to receive their accolades. As the Class of 2025 moves forward, the Senior Awards and Scholarship Night stands as a reminder of their achievements and the unwavering support of the Fort Pierce Central community. The night closed with the entire crowd singing the Fort Pierce Central High Alma Mater. Congratulations to all the seniors on their well-earned honors!
