Last Thursday, Treasure Coast High School students eagerly participated in our dynamic End of Course Exam Boot-Camp, gearing up for the upcoming state exams next month. Treasure Coast High School boasts of many business partners throughout the community.  One such business partner is Wing Stop. During their grand opening, TCHS was there in full force to support and celebrate with them. Treasure Coast Manufacturing Advisory Board Meets Virtually

Treasure Coast High School Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Program’s Advisory Board met the Program’s instructor, Mr. Phil Depuy and Mrs. Aliesha Seitz, CTE Director.  Treasure Coast Manufacturers Association (TCMA) President Jerry Jacques and Economic Development Council (EDC) Vice President Jill Marasa virtually connected with Mr. Depuy, Ms. Seitz and toured the upgraded lab.  Many ideas were exchanged and sessions planned to connect students with members of the Advisory Board and local manufacturing community.   Big thanks to TCMA and EDC for their continued support!  Level up!  

Treasure Coast Literacy Association’s Young Authors

Each year St. Lucie Public Schools commends its Young Authors with a celebration. This year’s event will be at Oak Hammock School and the guest author will be Lois McGuire, author of Don’t Be That Kid At School! and her latest book, Don’t be that Kid at Home! Dr. McGuire’s books will be available for purchase at the event. Ilyse Brainin and members of the Treasure Coast Literacy Association, formerly known as the St. Lucie County Reading Council, shared a proclamation with the St. Lucie County School Board entitled, “Promoting a Passion for Literacy.” The organization’s mission is to provide resources and ideas to help inspire educators to provide skills and techniques through events and professional development that will enable students to be successful learners and life long readers as well as supporting the community with literacy events.      

Treasure Coast High Students Visit Local Manufacturers

Mr. Phil Depuy and his Treasure Coast High School Manufacturing and Engineering students visited Bill Wilcox at Phoenix Metal Products Inc, and Tim Fischer at Southeast Elevator in Fort Pierce. At the first stop, the students were welding to get a hands-on taste of the job. At the second stop students saw what goes on behind the scenes of building an elevator. The business partners shared the skills needed for entry-level jobs and the students were making plans for what comes next after graduation.

Treasure Coast High students visit local industries for statewide Manufacturing Day

Treasure Coast High School instructor Jack Clark chaperoned 28 students from the school’s Manufacturing/Pre-Engineering program to visit area manufacturing companies in accordance with the state’s Manufacturing Day. The first visit was to PAC Seating Systems in Palm City, where students received a tour from CEO Chuck Tufano. PAC Seating designs and creates state of the art airline seating for corporate and private jets. The visit was a huge eye-opener for students as they were very impressed with the quality working environment at PAC, which reinforced the OSHA safety standards students are learning in the classroom.  Students also visited Phoenix Metal in Ft. Treasure Coast High students launch water balloons to study algebra

Students in Robby Green’s math classes at Treasure Coast High School participated in an exciting activity where they launched water balloons on a large slingshot to reinforce Algebra concepts. The release point was used as the coordinate (0, 0), the point where it passed through the slingshot as a second fixed point. Students used a trundle wheel to measure the total distance their balloon traveled, this was their third coordinate. Using the three coordinates each student will calculate the quadratic equation that models their launched balloon. Treasure Coast High student selected for elite academic competition

Congratulations to Treasure Coast High School junior Will Barr, a member of St. Lucie Public Schools’ Academic A Team and one of six students selected for the State of Florida’s Academic A Team (Team Florida). Will also received a $1,000 scholarship for his participation with the local team, which placed fourth in the state competition, just shy of advancing to the final stage of the competition.

Treasure Coast High School’s AFJROTC Supports PSL Blue Star Moms

TCHS AFJROTC spent a recent afternoon removing the stars from properly and ceremoniously retired American Flags.  Blue Star Moms are mothers of US Service members who undertake this annual project  to support and encourage service members, especially those overseas. The stars are packaged with a note of support and sent to military members to provide them a token that they can carry in their pocket to remind them that US Citizens at home support them and are thinking about them.

Treasure Coast High School’s 2021 Graduation May 25, 2021 725 students graduated as members of the class of 2021 from Treasure Coast High School.   The 2021 Graduating Class from Treasure Coast High School earned over $7,400,000  in scholarships.   7 Graduates have enlisted to serve our country in the armed forces.   62 Graduates also earned their A.A. Treasure Coast High School culinary students proudly demonstrated their skills at Village Green Elementary during the Pancakes with Santa event on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Treasure Coast High School Titans Gain Insight at Holocaust Memorial

On March 3, students in Mr. Grundstrom’s Holocaust Studies class visited the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach for an impactful learning experience. The trip gave students the chance to explore the history of the Holocaust in a setting that encourages reflection and understanding. During the guided tour, students examined the events that led to the Holocaust and the experiences of those who lived through it. They were also welcomed by a Holocaust survivor who shared his personal story. Last week, our 11th and 12th-grade students had an incredible opportunity to attend the HBCU and HSI College Fair, which was held at the St. Lucie Public Schools District Office. This event was designed to introduce students to a variety of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as well as Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), giving them direct access to college representatives and valuable information about admissions, programs, and campus life. Treasure Coast High School’s Titan Theatre program’s recent production of The Addams Family Musical proved to be a tremendous success, leaving audiences entertained and reaffirming the program’s commitment to artistic excellence and student growth. Treasure Coast High School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Titan Theatre students Kiyana Theophile and Angel Salcedo. On Saturday, December 13, they represented our school at the District 15 Thespian Festival, held at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where they competed against 21 talented students from across the district. Fourteen Treasure Coast High School Titan Theatre students were proudly inducted into the International Thespian Society on Friday, January 9th, earning recognition in the national honor society for high school theatre. Induction into ITS reflects a high level of dedication and accomplishment in the performing arts. Each student earned 10 Thespian points, which represents at least 100 hours of quality theatre work completed during their high school career.
