Students in Ms. Garica’s 4th grade class played the lullaby Duerme Mi Tesoro, a Puerto Rican lullaby, on Orff Instruments during music resource. They learned how to sing the lullaby in Spanish and learned by using Solfège before learning the notes on the Orff Instruments. Solfège is an exercise that uses solmization syllables. The students had a great time and were very engaged in this activity.
