Palm Pointe K-8 Rockets continue to soar as our middle school history students were proudly recognized at the district’s History Day awards ceremony. Their hard work, creativity, and deep understanding of historical concepts resulted in outstanding achievements across multiple categories. Collectively, Palm Pointe students earned first place for group documentary, first place for group performance, and second place for individual exhibit, showcasing excellence in research, collaboration, and presentation.
Adding to this impressive accomplishment, two Palm Pointe projects were selected to advance to the Florida State History Day competition in Tallahassee later this spring, where students will represent our school and district on a statewide stage. These achievements reflect not only student dedication, but also the strength of our instructional program.
We are especially proud of Mrs. Melanie Larsen, who was recognized during the History Fair Ceremony for her commitment, leadership, and success in guiding her students to excellence. Palm Pointe K-8 celebrates our Rockets for their achievements and for continuing to make our school community proud.
