The newly formed Lincoln Park Academy Speech and Debate Team can boast of great accomplishments during its inaugural year as all six members qualified for State and one member qualified for Nationals.
Team members Aaron Address, Jennifer Barajas, Daphne Bellot, and Zyla Marc qualified for State in the Program of Oral Interpretation. Alyssa Monaco also qualified for State in the category of Declamation, and Donald Smith qualified for Nationals in Dramatic Interpretation.
Coaches Debra Scherer and Stuart Address are proud of the team and looking forward to next year.
