Congratulations to Lincoln Park Academy Senior, Callie Zheng for being selected as Fort Pierce Rotary Club, Student of the Month for October. Callie is a graduating with a weighted GPA of an awesome 6.22. She is the daughter of Quan Zheng and Wei Cai.
Callie’s subjects of interests are many and include Chemistry, Mathematics, and Engineering. She has received awards as a 2019 Florida Sunshine State Scholar, a 2019 National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist, First Place Individual Southwest Region for the AMATYC 2018 and Third Place in Senior Plant Sciences Category at the Florida State Science and Engineering Fair. Callie is a member of the National Honor Society, the Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, Association for Women in Mathematics and the International Thespian Society.
The person who has influenced Callie the most is her brother. He has shown her what a hard work ethic looks like and has pushed Callie to be dedicated and devoted to anything she sets her mind to.
Callie’s most meaningful quote is “You miss 100% of the shots you do not take!”
