On July 27th, Lincoln Park Academy hosted its incoming 6th-grade Transition Camp. Incoming students and parents were welcomed to campus by the proud Principal, Dr. Herrington. Information concerning scheduling, electives, dress code, and cell phone usage was reviewed during the opening session. Students and parents participated in a guided tour of the campus facilitated by the LPA Theater Entourage. Finally, members of the outstanding 6th-grade team provided tips for success as the students transition to middle school. These tips included communication, organization, and grading differences. We are excited to welcome all the LPA incoming 6th-graders in the coming weeks.
