On October 18, 2025, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion JROTC proudly served as the color guard for a Professional Golf Association (PGA) golf tournament. The Detail’s participation showcased the school and JROTC program with precision and pride during the ceremony.
The color guard included Cadet Captain Kamron Harris carrying the U.S. flag, Cadet Command Sergeant Major Micah Rutter with the state flag, Cadet First Sergeant Christopher McKay as the right guard, and Cadet Captain Axel Andrade as the left guard. The cadets presented the colors at the Wanamaker Course, near the clubhouse, before the tournament’s start. Their professionalism exemplified the core values of JROTC, making the Jaguar Battalion stand out within the community. The event supports PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), PGA REACH’s flagship military program, which introduces golf to Veterans to enhance their mental, social, physical, and emotional well-being, helping them assimilate back into their communities.
