Our Kindergartners at Frances K. Sweet have just completed an exciting unit on Sea Turtles as part of the MOA Discovery Program!
Throughout the unit, students explored the seven species of sea turtles, their habitats, and life cycles, while learning how they can help protect these amazing creatures—especially during beach visits.
A highlight of the experience was the exclusive Sea Turtle Play with Purpose kit, designed just for Frances K. Sweet’s MOA Discovery Program. With this kit, students:
- Participated in a Sea Turtle Rescue
- Followed the life cycle of sea turtles
- Read informational books to deepen their understanding.
