FPC Celebrates History Day

On February 9, Fort Pierce Central celebrated the History Day schoolwide winners and district nominees at its annual History Day Luncheon. The theme this year was Debate and Diplomacy: Success, Failures, and Consequences. The students enjoyed the very best of what the culinary department had to offer, with a catered menu and elegant ambiance organized by the Cobra Cafe, under the guidance of Chef Strell. We are proud of the work put forth by our students and enjoy celebrating their accomplishments year after year. We are extremely grateful to the Fort Pierce Lions Club for sponsoring the yearly event. Our students achieved these accomplishments with the support of their teachers: Mrs. Ortiz, History Day Coordinator, Mrs. Nance, Mr. Perceval, Mr. Heuter, and Mrs. Castaneda. We would also like to take a moment to thank our amazing Fort Pierce Central Principal Mrs. Buchanan and Assistant Principal Mrs. Boria, for their support in highlighting the success of our students as they dig deeper into the history of the world. We look forward to witnessing the continued growth of our students at Districts for History Day, towards the end of February.
