Fairlawn Elementary recently welcomed K–2 families for an engaging and informative Camp UFLI Parent Night that brought learning, community, and fun together. Rebecca did a fantastic job presenting all of the information. The evening was designed to help families better understand the UFLI literacy program and learn practical ways to support reading development at home. Parents and students had the opportunity to explore what UFLI looks like in the classroom while gaining helpful tips to reinforce skills beyond the school day.
The event also had a festive atmosphere, with families enjoying hot dogs fresh off the grill, cooked by Principal Ader, while connecting with teachers and one another. Camp UFLI Parent Night highlighted the strong partnership between Fairlawn staff and families and reinforced our shared commitment to student success. By working together, Fairlawn continues to build confident, capable readers and foster a love of learning that extends from the classroom into every home.
