Elementary Science Showcase: A Celebration of Curiosity and Creativity!

On Saturday, April 6th, our school community came together for the Elementary Science Showcase, an event that ignited young minds and celebrated their scientific endeavors. Held at our district office, this showcase provided a platform for our elementary students to shine, share, and inspire.

Students eagerly displayed their projects, engaging visitors in lively discussions. Whether presenting individually or as part of a group, their passion and knowledge were palpable. This experience served as a stepping stone for the St. Lucie County Regional Science and Engineering Fair STEM Competition. Our students, armed with newfound skills and enthusiasm, are well-equipped to take on the challenge.
Participating Schools:

  • Mosaic Digital Academy
  • Windmill Point Elementary
  • Northport K-8
  • Lawnwood Elementary
  • Floresta Elementary
  • Samuel Gaines Academy
  • St. Lucie Elementary

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to two outstanding businesses that champion education and innovation:

  • In-Water Research Group: Their commitment to environmental stewardship aligns perfectly with our students’ scientific explorations.
  •  Guy Harvey Foundation: Their unwavering support empowers our teachers and students, fostering a love for marine conservation and marine science.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this inspiring event! Let’s keep nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning and science. 🚀🔬🌟🌱
