This year Dan McCarty has become an AVID(Advancement Via Individual Determination) school. This designation allows for our sixth graders to learn about college and career readiness! Our first activity to expose students to different careers, started today with Retired Officer and current IRSC Professor, Chris Fulcher! Mr.Fulcher alongside Officer Stephens teamed up to discuss career opportunities in law enforcement and crime scene investigation! The students had the opportunity to process and extract shoe impressions and fingerprints.
