This past week, Superintendent E. Wayne Gent, kept his promise by celebrating the Class of 2020 with live in-person graduations at Lawnwood Stadium. The Class of 2020 will go down in history by being the first graduating class to have not one but two graduations. The first was a virtual graduation in May followed by the graduations held last week.
These successful and well-attended graduations would not have been possible without support from district staff and school personnel. SLPS would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Kevin Perry, Assistant to the Superintendent, who took the lead on organizing the graduation ceremonies.
