Over 600 parents and students attended Ft. Pierce Central’s College Night for Juniors and Seniors. Hosted by Central’s Guidance Dept. and Administration, families learned important information regarding the college application process, college admission data, and financial/scholarship opportunities. Websites that can assist in selecting and applying for colleges and scholarships were demonstrated. Students were also given a time line of what needs to be completed each month to stay on track and meet deadlines. Guidance Counselors and teachers will continue to work with Seniors on college and career choices throughout the school year. Many parents expressed their gratitude for the information, assistance and support provided to make this exciting college application process less stressful.
